Pete Distad
CEO
Pete Distad serves as CEO, FOX Direct to Consumer at Fox Corporation, with oversight of all aspects of the FOX One streaming platform as well as for driving growth and innovation in Fox’s digital offerings.
Prior to taking the lead at FOX One, Distad was tapped as CEO of Venu Sports, a joint venture sports streaming service. Before joining Venu, he spent 10 years at Apple where he led global video, sports, and operational teams as the Senior Director of Video/Sports/TV+ Business, Operations, and Distribution. At Apple, Pete was pivotal in expanding the company’s video businesses, contributing significantly to their scale and revenue growth. He originally joined the company to lead product marketing for the Apple TV hardware product. Previously, he served as the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Distribution on the executive team at Hulu (2007-2013) and was part of the original Hulu launch team.
Distad also currently serves as a board member for CoachArt, a non-profit organization dedicated to making the arts, athletics and STEM accessible to children with chronic illness.
