MEMORY OF A KILLER

Inspired by the book and 2003 award-winning Belgian film “De Zaak Alzheimer,” Memory of a Killer is a dramatic thriller starring Emmy® Award nominee Patrick Dempsey (“Grey’s Anatomy,” “Dexter: Original Sin,” “Ferrari”), Angelo Flannery/Doyle, who leads a dangerous double life while hiding an even deadlier personal secret, he is slowing losing his memory.   Angelo lives two totally separate lives —as Angelo Doyle he is a fearsome New York City hitman and as Angelo Flannery he is mild-mannered upstate Cooperstown photocopier salesman and devoted father and widower. To further complicate things, he discovers that his wife’s recent death may not have been an accident. When someone comes after his pregnant daughter Maria, it’s clear the wall between his lives has been breached. Angelo must stop whoever’s coming for his family by searching his past hits for clues, and the list is very long. Memory of a Killer is a redemptive story about a man who is losing his memory but gaining a conscience.

Emmy® Award winner Michael Imperioli (“The White Lotus,” “The Sopranos”) stars opposite Dempsey in the role of Dutch Forlanni, an accomplished Italian chef whose restaurant is a front for criminal enterprise. As ruthless and mercurial as he is affable, Dutch is Angelo’s oldest friend, as well as his employer — he gives Angelo the targets for his hits. In a business as dangerous as theirs, Angelo must trust Dutch. But being trustworthy isn’t one of Dutch’s more dependable qualities.

Joe Ferrara (Richard Harmon, “Final Destination: Bloodlines”) is Dutch’s nephew and a neophyte hitman working alongside Angelo. Joe gets stuck with the grunt work – gathering recon and sorting getaway plans – but that puts him in prime position to witness Angelo’s mental decline. Joe knows he could make or break Angelo, but he also knows that choice could cost him everything. Angelo’s adult daughter, Maria Kahn (Odeya Rush, “Dangerous Waters”), married and pregnant, it seems Maria’s chosen a quiet life with her struggling inventor husband Jeff (Daniel David Stewart, “Reacher”). But something stirs in her – a yearning for adventure. Angelo is Maria’s everything, so when his mind begins to falter, she’s right there by his side to care for him. As she gets closer and closer to her father, she’ll find that being close to Angelo is a dangerous place to be. Maria’s childhood friend Dave Woods (Peter Gadiot, “Queen of the South”) is a local police detective in their sleepy town who has no idea a world class hitman is living there right under his nose. Dave is further drawn into Angelo and Maria’s world as he investigates the accident that took the life of Angelo’s wife, while fighting his growing feelings for Maria.

In the aftermath of the attempt on Maria’s life, Linda Grant (Gina Torres, “9-1-1: Lone Star”) enters Angelo’s life and starts to suspect that there is more to Angelo than he lets on. A mercurial, seasoned, and brilliantly tenacious FBI Agent she will become a major antagonist for Angelo. When Grant begins investigating one of Angelo’s kills, it puts them on a collision course that will see Grant come perilously close to unmasking Angelo’s many secrets and threatening everything he holds dear.
